Many of our artisans craft these items in their homes, not in our studio, making it difficult to always be aware of where your item is in the process of being made. We value being able to give some of our artisans the freedom to work from their homes. This gives them freedom to work when they want, put their family first, and pass their craft down to their children. A culture rooted in family, tradition, and craft is an important one to honor and we are thankful for the opportunity to facilitate that.
All of our items are made to order, and often ship in 8-10 weeks. As soon as your item ships, we will email you a tracking number so you can follow it on its journey.
If you have not gotten an email with tracking by the 8 week mark, feel free to email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) with your order number, asking for an update. If you email asking before the 6 week mark, we will likely just remind you that the lead time is 8-10 weeks.
You have 30 days to return your item, in all original packaging, undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping, in addition to a 20% restocking fee. You will not be refunded for shipping. You may not return items that were bought on sale.
We hope not. But we do understand they can occur. If they do, please note the following:

Photographs will be required of the package and the item itself to validate a damage claim and determine best course of action to solve the issue.
To make a claim: email detailed pictures of damaged items and the original packaging it came in to: firstname.lastname@example.org with subject line CLAIM along with your order #.

So you have a Stray Dog product! Congrats! Isn't it great? Or maybe you're just apprehensive about how one would clean and care for a product as it grows into your home. Good news, it's easy. Take a damp rag and gently wipe the surface of the item. Boom.
Only if your order ships to a Tennessee address, in which case Tennessee state sales tax will apply.

Picking the perfect shade for your next favorite lamp doesn't have to be difficult. Get your paws on a ruler and use these guidelines:
- Width: Your shade should be twice the width of the lamp's base
- Height: Your shade should be about 2/3 of the height of the lamp's base
The shade should hide pretty much all of the metal neck of the lamp. Make sure your harp never shows! That's a no no.
