Acceptance of Orders

Your order is accepted at such time the order is processed by Stray Dog Designs, LLC. Your order is deemed to be entered correctly and our terms and conditions are considered accepted unless you notify us within 24 hours from the date you submit your order. We encourage all orders to be placed through our website. Orders not flowing through the website are subject to a 2% processing fee.

Prices are Retail, F.O.B. Laredo, TX. Prices are subject to change without notice.

Shipping

We ship to the continental US, Mexico and Canada. Orders to Hawaii and Alaska as well as remote, island and major city locations require custom shipping prices. You can contact us before you place an order, or we will get back to you once your order has been placed.

We ship UPS small package and freight. Because we are a made to order company, lead time is generally 8-10 weeks + freight time of 4-7 days. Once your shipment is in the UPS system, we will issue a tracking number.

Shipping charges are $12.95 on orders below $300. Items that are designated FREIGHT DELIVERY incur a $149 charge.  Freight is CURBSIDE DELIVERY only. We offer white glove delivery, please contact us for a quote. Freight moving to high density, remote, or island locations will incur additional freight charges. 

Merchandise Characteristics

Our products are hand-crafted, and because of this there are inherent characteristics that are considered part of the charm and desirability of the merchandise.

Damage/Shortage

Stray Dog Designs carefully inspects and packs your order before consigning to UPS. We pack as eco friendly as possible. Notify Stray Dog Designs immediately to report any damage or shortage. All claims must be made within 7 days of receiving. We will not be responsible for damages after 7 days.

If your product arrives by LTL FREIGHT, all damages MUST BE NOTATED on the bill of lading. Failure to notate such damage will result in your loss. If you see any damage to the carton upon receiving, please photograph and notate on the bill of lading.

If a loss or damage does occur, save the carton and packing material. Photographs will be required to validate a damage claim and determine best course of action to solve the issue.

Installation

Stray Dog Designs is not responsible for damages caused during or due to improper installation. If you have questions concerning the installation of permanent fixtures, please contact a local licensed electrician. Never install damaged merchandise. Stray Dog Designs will not be responsible for damages reported after installation.

Certification

Stray Dog Designs products are engineered to meet the rigid safety standards established by Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL). Our overhead/hardwire fixtures bear the UL/CUL label for the United States and Canada.

Returns & Exchanges

All returns must be authorized in writing and in advance by Stray Dog Designs. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Merchandise may be sent back for exchange or store credit within 4 weeks of delivery. Full refunds will be issued for products only if they are returned in their original condition. Returns on delivered orders will incur return delivery costs + 20% restocking fee. Original delivery charges, if applicable, are not refundable.

Please pack and seal merchandise for return to us in its original packaging. Be sure to ship the package with a carrier that can provide tracking and insurance. You are responsible for all shipping costs for returned merchandise.

Please include a note with your name, return address, daytime phone number and/or email address that says what you are returning and what you would like to have happen—exchange, credit, or refund.

Special orders, special offers, and sale items, may not be returned or exchanged for store credit.

Product Warranty

Stray Dog Designs warrants its products for one year to be free of defects in materials and workmanship.
