With over 20 years of experience, La Paz provides essential resources to families, helping them navigate challenges with respect and cultural sensitivity. From bilingual case management and homelessness prevention to education and community-building initiatives, La Paz is a beacon of hope and support for many.
What Does La Paz Do?
La Paz offers a variety of programs that strengthen families and empower individuals:
- Homelessness Prevention: Helping young adults (18–24) find stable housing and providing support like rental assistance, legal services, and housing stability case management.
- Education: Programs like Avanzando Through College support first-generation Latino college students, while classes in digital skills and workforce development empower families and entrepreneurs to thrive.
- Community Engagement: Events like Cafecito Entre Nosotras and Convivio Comunitario foster a sense of belonging and connection, while civic education initiatives empower individuals with knowledge of their rights and local resources.
- Resource Navigation: From food pantry services to navigating school systems and legal processes, La Paz helps families access the tools they need to succeed.
