Y'all, it's cold outside! The weather has been gray and gross and COOOLD! Six months ago I was lounging on a beach on Harbor Island in the Bahamas, knowing the cold would come, but I just wasn't prepared. I am trying to channel those warmer days as I bundle myself up in woolen sweaters and extra pairs of socks. I have been dreaming about the Bahamas and even watched the Fyre Festival documentary on Netflix just to see that crystal clear water again.
Mid winter seemed like the perfect time to do a virtual tour of our friend Chassity Evan's house on Harbor Island which you may have seen in the October issue of Coastal Living. You can have an actual tour if you rent it on VRBO!
Coral House is right in the heart of Dunmore Town, overlooking the Harbor. It is hidden behind a white fence and an archway of palms and sea grape. Take a tour of her house below and see how many Stray Dog Designs you can spot!
A warm welcome with the perfect pink color, some palms and a dutch door to boot!
Chassity worked with Charleston architect Beau Clowney to redesign the house. They opened up the kitchen, replaced windows with doors and even added a pool. We love the pops of pink in the kitchen, especially the Gabby Pendant!
The dining room and living room are open and airy. I love that the walls and ceilings are white, it looks clean and fresh and lets the colors pop! Love the Twiggy Chandelier in here!
There are two bedrooms on the main level. Both have sweet Stray Dog sconces, Mirth tiles on the floor and Biscuit bedding. Chassity did a wonderful job of layering pattern and color!
Upstairs the master bedroom is having a moment with that headboard! It's covered in Lulie Wallace fabric and matches the curtains.
The outdoor spaces are just as beautiful as the indoors. I think we all can agree the pool was a good idea!
Chassity turned an old bunkhouse into a bar by the pool.
