As March unfolds, we're thrilled to bring you another installment of Stray Dog Digs! Spring is peeking around the corner, and we've curated a delightful collection of things that are bringing us life right now.

Billy says, "While in San Miguel last week, we were invited to attend a fundraiser by the group Birds Without Borders benefiting The Pelee Island Observatory. The party was hosted by the owners of Camino Sylvestre (a great interiors and gift emporium in downtown San Miguel de Allende. They also own the Mexican made mouth blown glass hummingbird feeders sold worldwide called Parasol!) at the house of dynamic duo Jim McKeever and Alfredo Garcia-Lucio. The event was graced by Margaret Atwood who read from her forthcoming chat book, Birding with Graeme Gibson. Think of The Pelee Island Observatory as a NAFTA refuge for migratory birds on the border of Canada and US. We learned that of the 115 migratory species that have been banded on the island, 105 of them spend their winters in Mexico."
Speaking of Camino Sylvestre... Jane says, "The Camino Sylvestre boys started out as a wholesalers ( that is how we know them, from the shows way back when) and their wholesale company is called Parasol. They do not have a retail website but do have some items on Amazon.
I think these places are going to be so beautiful. Can't wait!"
